Africa Hub Health Research Capacity project was awarded to the School of Public Health to nurture and develop capacity in health services and systems research. The project is under the Future Health Systems Research Program consortium with Makerere School of Public Health as the hub leader.
Strengthened capacities in health services and health systems research are critical to the goals of our own institutions and to population health.
With support from the Future Health Systems (FHS) consortium, seven schools of public health (SPHs) in East and Central Africa run a five-year project to strengthen their capacity to undertake high quality, policy relevant health systems research (HSR).
