On March 4 2023, the Department of Public and Global Health received a Team from Northeastern University, Boston.

The Department of Public and Global Health received a Team from Northeastern University, Boston - Justin Repici (Academic Affairs), Brittany Harris (Global experience office), Khushal H. Safi (Global Security Office), and Prof. Richard Wamai, visiting professor in the Department under Emeritus Prof. Joseph Wangombe. The team, accompanied by Chair, Dr. Rose Opiyo and Dr. George Agot paid a courtesy call to the Dean of the Faculty of Health Science, Prof. George Osanjo. Discussions were on strengthening the existing MoU and possible student and faculty exchange as well as Global Health Training and Research.
