Level V MHChB students undertake Health Centre Practice at sub-County hospitals in Kiambu County.

The Department of Public and Global Health, in collaboration with sub-County Hospitals in Kiambu County conducted a Health Centre Practice exercise for the MBChB V students between Monday, May 8th, 2023, to Friday, June 2nd, 2023.

The sub-county hospitals include Wangige, Kihara, Gikambura, Lusigetti, and Ndeiya Sub-County Hospitals.

The Health Centre Practice exercise is an activity to educate the students and sensitize the community on Public Health issues of concern.

The exercise was conducted after the fifth-year Medical students completed their Community Health rotation in the Department from March 27th, 2023, to June 16, 2023.
