On May 16, 2025, the Department of Public and Global Health hosted students and Faculty from Northeastern University, Boston.

The Chair of Department Dr. Rose Opiyo welcomed the team led by Prof. Richard Wamai, Professor of Cultures, Societies and Global Studies at the University. 

The annual visit comes at the backdrop of strengthening the existing MoU and student and faculty exchange as well as Global Health Training and Research. Those present at the event were Dr. George Agot Dept. of Public and Global Health and Ms. Hellen Nyakundi of Northeastern University, Boston.
