“Your colleagues have a lot of expectations from you, just walk with them to the right destination,” Prof. Kiama said.
On his part, College of Health Sciences Principal Prof. James Machoki also congratulated Prof. Olenja saying she will no doubt take the school to the next level based on her experience.
“Prof. Olenja has mentored many members of staff in the school and will definitely have this portrayed in her leadership. My office will ensure she gets full support,” Prof. Machoki said.
Prof. Olenja thanked the VC for her appointment saying it came as a surprise to her.
Prof. Olenja takes over from Prof. Mutuku Mwanthi whose term as a director came to an end.
