First Years' Online Registration, Orientation, and Learning 2020

The Academic Year 2020/2021 will commence on Monday 31 August 2020 and the first thing you need is your letter of Admission.  If you do not have your letter of admission, please write an email to admissions@uonbi.ac.ke with details of your name, programme to which you have been admitted to and KCSE Index Number..

Orientation, registration, classes and examination will all be exclusively be conducted online via various virtual platforms.

Soulsby Fellowships awarded for One Health projects on zoonotic diseases, sustainable food production and food poverty

Researchers working across the wide range of One Health issues have been awarded fellowship funds to allow them to progress their research.
Five fellowships, in total worth £50,000, have been awarded to support research into zoonotic disease, maternal health, sustainable food production and biodiversity.

Prof. Jaoko honoured for role in fight against HIV/AIDS

Prof. Walter Jaoko, Director KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research was one of the ten individuals who were honoured at the Ten out of Ten (1O/10) Awards held at the House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster, London on 9th September, 2019.

The Ten out of Ten Awards aims at facilitating an important conversation about the intersection that must converge in order to meet the UN targets of globally ending all new HIV diagnosis by 2030.

Uthiru and Wangige Health Education

The School of Public Health, in collaboration with Uthiru Health Centre, Wangige Sub-County Hospital, the Chief-Uthiru Location and Assistant County Commissioner-Kabete Sub County held a Health Education on Friday 14th June, 2019 in Uthiru and Wangige.

The exercise was undertaken by the fifth year Medical Students who have been visiting the Constituencies at the Uthiru Health Centre and Wangige Sub-County Hospital from May 13 to June 6, 2019 for their Community Diagnosis experience.

HIPPOCRATIC OATH BY GRADUATES FROM THE SCHOOL OF DENTAL SCIENCES CLASS 2017

The School of Dental Sciences held its Hippocratic Oath ceremony for the graduates of class 2017 on Friday 17th November 2017 at the School of Dental Sciences.

The oath was administered by Dr. Regina J. Mutave – Dean School of Dental Sciences, to the (20) Bachelor of Dental Surgery students who qualified for the award of Degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery by the University of Nairobi.
